The function of home affairs directorate was modified over the year
due to merger edict which also specified our responsibilities of
ministries and parastatals The directorate is headed by: Hadiza Buba Zarma shows that home affairs shall perform the
following function:
- State aspect of immigration and Neutralization
- Fire safety charges
- Marriage (license)
- Flags and Bundies
- Receiving of visitors
- Public ceremonies and celebration
